Could the "GDrive" Put The Nail In The PC Coffin?

Althought Google won't comment one way or the other, talks of the "GDrive" arriving this year have technology folks wondering if this could spell the end of the desktop as we know it. Instead of having your own pc with your own harddrive, your data and computing would all be done on the web and your computer would essentially become software rather than hardware.
